BLOG: Blog v Wiki
Compare and contrast blogs and wikis. Comment on the importance of convergence in today's networked world. How can blogs be used for collaboration? Can you think of a new use for a wiki that has not been done yet?
Firstly, a blog is something you have to create a website or web page where a person regularly writes opinions, links to other sites, etc. Shares ideas, and viewers can comment on it. Wiki is a website or database developed jointly by the user community that allows anyone to add and edit content. A wiki has some specific features that it works with; for example, it invites all users to edit any page or create new pages on the wiki. It allows anyone to contribute to the topic. The similarity is anyone can contribute their ideas where are blogs you can comment and wiki. Both allow us to calibrate with each other ideas; however, the blog is for personal use. They may write anything they want, such as food, music, a person's life, etc. Wiki is more factual and can be edit by anyone.
